We would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody who attended the Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival 2017 in Ballyshannon, Ireland. It was an amazing 4 days of superb music, nostalgia and alot of fun. Rory Gallagher would be so proud of the event in his honour in his birth town of Ballyshannon but in particular Rory would be so proud of the fact that his loyal fans from 29 Countries worldwide attended in 2017. That is absolutely phenomenal tribute to the great man. We would like to thank all the musicians who performed throughout the Festival on stages throughout Ballyshannon from the Rock Hospital to Rory Gallagher Place to the Rory Gallagher Statue to the Gables to the many great pub venues to the Festival Big Top ... youse were great, sorry fantastic. To everybody you helped and assisted in any way, to the street cleaners, to the stewards to the office helpers and to all the local services. Finally we would like to thank our main sponsors Failte Ireland & Wild Atlantic Way, Donegal County Council & Donegal Tourism, Ballyshannon & Bundoran Business Community and Diageo Guinness Ireland - the Pint of black stuff left to the end !!!
