The wait is nearly over !!! After 2 years on postponements owing to the global pandemic, thankfully the Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival returns to Ballyshannon between 2nd - 5th June 2022. The unique and award winning Festival that honours Ballyshannon's most famous son, the Late Great Rory Gallaghe. The town of Rory’s birth is set to once again rock to Rory's beat with Rory's fans and music lovers travelling from all over the world to attend between Thursday 2nd June and Sunday 5th June 2022.
The unique Irish Festival of the Year winner features non-stop Free to view open air concerts on the streets of the town, the Free to view Wild Atlantic Way gigs at the Rory Gallagher Statue, Free Pub Gigs - Day and Night, Busking, the Nightly Big Top Festival Concerts (only ticketed events), Exhibitions, Films, Discussions on Rory and the History of Irish Rock Music, Festival Camping and a great atmosphere of music fans that travel from over 25 countries worldwide. This is an event that needs to be experienced.
There is a fantastic line-up of Blues Rock, Rock and Classic Rock, Blues and Acoustic Guitar performers and legendary bands from the world of Blues Rock. In all there will be 30 Acts on 15 Stages over 4 Days.
