GLENN HUGHES IS FORCED TO POSTPONE FESTIVAL APPEARANCE DUE TO HEALTH ISSUE

FESTIVAL ANNOUNCEMENT - As many of our followers have been asking in recent days, following the postponement of Glenn Hughes UK Tour in May due to health issue requiring a Hospital Procedure, well last night the Rory Gallagher Festival Committee were informed by Glenn's Management that on Medical Advice that Glenn will not be able to appear on Saturday 1st June 2019 at the Rory Gallagher Festival in Ballyshannon. While it is hugely disappointing that Glenn will not be a part of the 2019 Festival, we wish Glenn every good wish, a speedy recovery and good health. Glenn has indicated that he would like to return in 2020 for the Festival. In the meantime, we the voluntary organising committee of this years Rory Gallagher Festival will be announcing a replacement Headliner Act to perform on Saturday 1st June 2019 at the Rory Gallagher Festival in Ballyshannon. Such sad news to hear Glen Hughes is I'll. We wish him a fast recovery. Wish you well in your search to find s replacement Act at such very short notice. Your efforts are amazing and ALL the Rory fans will still have A MIGHTY Festival 2019. Great RORY TRIBUTE FESTIVAL 2019!
We enjoyed 3 days of many interpretations of RORYS songs, with the regular bands from home and away!
also enjoyed the younger bands!
great to see old and new friends- brilliant weekend- from-
RAY AND PAT--CO OFFALY-IRL- our tenth or more year attending Ballyshannon!
RORY FEST!!- Compliments to the hard working committe!
