John Wilson has this evening announced through his bands management company Citizen Music Ireland that he will be retiring from music performance / gigging. It also means of course that John Wilson's Taste will be unable to perform at the Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival 2018. However we the voluntary organising committee of the Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival would like to wish John Wilson every success in his retirement from music performance and thank John for his immense contribution to music down through the years. John Wilson's Taste of Rory performance in Ballyshannon at the Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival 2017 will live long in the memory and will go down as one of the greatest gigs ever at the Festival
