There are moments when a community is truly tested. This is one of those moments. And throughout these difficult months, one thing has remained constant, your support, your encouragement and your belief in the Festival with Rory's music.
The 2026 Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival brought our worldwide Rory family together in Ballyshannon for four unforgettable days of music, friendship and celebration. It reminded us exactly why this Festival matters. And it reminded us what we are determined to protect.
Yes, we are fighting for the Rory Gallagher Festival future following the 2026 Festival, the collapse of our ticketing agent, Tickets.ie, and that has created an extremely serious financial situation for the Festival. As a voluntary organisation, this has placed enormous pressure on everyone involved. But despite the challenges - We are not giving up. No, instead we are planning for the future, whiled the legal representatives sort out the issues in courts - #Back2027
You see, the Rory Gallagher Festival has been built over many years by passionate volunteers, musicians, supporters, local businesses and most importantly the fans who travel from all around the world to celebrate Rory. And that family is stronger than any setback - #BACK2027
